Igniting Young Minds, Creating A Better Future

Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world. Our goal is to work with parents, families, community partners, and schools to teach African American youth the tools needed to make the world a better place.

Beginning with early education, the way a teacher nurtures your child’s talents helps shape the path they will walk in life. Teachers act as incubators, bringing out the best in a child by stimulating their minds and inspiring them to achieve great things. When families, mentors, communities, and higher-education partners work together, youth have more opportunities to grow their talents and explore their potential.

For years, the 100 has supported African American youth, believing that all children deserve access to a quality education regardless of race or socioeconomic status.

We provide youth with a fun, individualized teaching approach that prepares them for school and life while building their creativity. Our mentors are more than tutors — they uplift, encourage, and guide students toward becoming the best version of themselves. By helping each child recognize their strengths and abilities, we help create a better future for them and their community.

“Community and higher education partnerships open doors for our youth to have a better chance to enhance their talents and opportunities.”
